    About to start on my first restoration its for my step dad is a 67 Gto. Any tips or suggestions would be appriciated thanks in advance. pics to come soon. :unsure: :S :unsure:

    no pics yet but will post when i get back into town. car is in decent shape so not doing a frame up. trying to decide if i should strip and start at bare metal. or start blocking with 180 and see what happens. hardly any rust from what i can tell and time isn’t an issue. money is not a big deal as it is for my step dad. and as far as experience i have been on the collision side for about 5 years mainly doing the body side of things and just started painting or learning to spray still kinda new to that part only been doing that for 6 months

    If you want the best outcome. Strip it and start with epoxy. Repair the rust as you go in time and all will be fine.. The best job will come from bare metal up.. You wont regret it :stoned

    I would strip it as well. That way you find all the surprises 😉
