In an effort to continue bringing more to the site (whether it’s useful or not), I’ve added an estimate generator for the small guys and maybe for people working out of their garage. Its just a simple, generic form that you can use in place of writing, it adds your repair lines together and calculates it in the end. Its an interactive PDF file, you will need something like adobe reader to use it. If you have any suggestions please put them out their, & if anyone has a desire to have a custom form built with your own logo and whatever else, just ask. It can be altered to include / calculate inputted repair hours, just keeping it simple.
Here’s the forms:

http://www.refinishnetwork.info/forms/estimatelogo.pdf -> Uses the Refinish Network Logo, lets you put in your company name.
November 6, 2008 at 6:22 am #11750pretty cool jimmo im gonna play with that a little i will let ya know what i think ive got a bid ta do on another lexus an i will give it a try an see how it comes out mabey i can get a few guys to throw in their 2 cents an see if the can make their computer software write one higher oughta be fun;)
thats pretty cool i may well get some use out of that.
Here is my contribution as i am from the uk we probaly do things a little different but you can have a look and see
You will need microsoft excel to be able to use this template
It is a self calculating estimate sheet that i made in Microsoft Excel it has been set at $48.00 per hour.
This ammount can be changed easilly by clicking on cell D55 and changing from =SUM(B53*48.00) to what ever your labour rate is.
All you have to do is remove the 48.00 part and put in your standard labour rate.
Usefull for opinion time estimates or if you just want to do a quick estimate
Or you can just print of and use it as a blank form
It probaly is not what people are looking for but you can have a look it may give you some idea’s perhaps you could customise it a little
P.s. the tax rate is set at 17.5% that is the standard tax rate here you would need to change that to your local tax rate if applicable
Sorry have to cancel that at the moment wont let me upload not the correct file type
