Sprays really nice. I can’t stress enough how nice the stuff lays.
I’m not shitting you, this stuff lays like clearcoat.
Hard to run.
Thin and easy to shoot. Yet builds like crazy.
Dries amazingly fast. Hand Slick in minutes, Fully Blockable in hours.
Sands flawlessly, High and low grits. 150, 300, 600, 800. Don’t matter.
Stuff hates paper or something, you couldn’t force that stuff clog your abrasives if you tried.
Wet Sands Flawlessly, Dry Sands Flawlessly.Hands down, Best Surfacer I’ve ever used.
And the price tag is nice too. :whistle:Get the Good stuff!
Nuff’ said!

June 21, 2009 at 10:45 pm #14757$80/kit for you maybe.
I just tried to buy some today. $89/gallon for the primer and $31/qt for the ch258 hardener. Little rich for my blood but I was gonna try it anyway just to make bondo happy and see what all the fuss is about. They didn’t have the hardener in stock though……
Sooo…. I picked up the old standby 15222 instead. Less than $80 for the kit. I got Crossfire labeled primer and Acme labled hardener.
First paint supplies I’ve bought in over a year. Got a little sticker shock on the tube of metal glaze I picked up. Was damned near $30. Was like $18 last time I bought any.
Hard to believe the CP440 is really $50/gallon better than the 15222. I’ve always been happy with 15222.
Wow. Just looked at my receipt.
My dad used to work for the guy at the place like 28 years ago for nearly a half decade while in High school and then College.
I asked for supplier discount. I guess he gave it to me.Because it says $92 gallon Cp440. Price paid $57.80
Price for hardener 37, price paid $23.21Total for the kit $81.01 :woohoo:
The guy didn’t even mention it!
Maybe I need to call that ol’ fart up and say something.
To be fair. I did order 5 gallons of stuff. 😉
June 21, 2009 at 11:43 pm #14759I’m not 100% sure if I was getting quoted shop pricing on it or not. The guy quoting me those prices was on a separate terminal from the guy getting the rest of my order put together, but, I can’t imagine that he wasn’t under my account while yelling out prices. I”m supposed to get a discount under my account there.
I paid $46.81/Gallon for 15222 and $23.25/qt for fh411 hardener = $70.06 for the kit.
First I’ve seen of the Acme / Finish 1.
