kinda curious mine is my rp 1.3 their aint anything that gun cant do well also own a 3000 1.3 an an lph 400 but for me i prefer my rp ive been thinking about going to a 1.2 tip though as i think the 1.3 is a little to much of a hose an i find myself cranking the fluid about a turn an a half ta get a nice pattern
April 7, 2008 at 3:12 am #10123I’m a Sata kind of guy myself. I have a Rp that Started life as a 1.3, but the last kit I bought I went to a 1.2. It works well, but I did notice that I needed to slow down a little bit.
I use 3000’s with 1.3 tips for base.
I also use a 2000 for sealer with a 1.3 tip, and another 2000 with a 1.3 tip for the solid base colors.
I have tried the Lph 400 for spraying clear, and it worked ok, but the feel was a little strange for me. A little to small and petite for my hands 🙂
Nothing wrong with the Iwatas though. I own two Iwata airbrushes :ohmy:AnonymousApril 7, 2008 at 3:29 am #10125I love my lph but have limited experience with the sata’s. From what i’ve seen so far with the sata’s it would definitely make for a tough choice. i need to get a hold on an RP to give it a thorough test.
