i was going to buy some once until they told me it was $380 a gallon. if you already got it, it should be no different than any other polyprimer. 2.0-2.5mm tip, very small fan and start hammerin!!

sounds like a fun product to buy… :stoned
I like slicksand just fine and it’s half the price.
January 14, 2011 at 1:20 pm #27165seriously? $380?
slicksand is great. I thought it was ‘the good stuff’ It’s $65 for a gallon.
$380? yikes.
January 15, 2011 at 12:13 am #27173polyesters are not usually even made by most or even any of the paint companies. its private labeled or made for them by companies like evercoat that specialize in polyester. the price is jacked way up like its something special when it is not. polyester is pretty low on the technology totem pole and cheap to make. no need for those kind of prices.
AnonymousJanuary 15, 2011 at 3:12 am #27179I have used it before but as already mentioned its hard to justify paying that much for polyester. It was a nice product but i didn’t find it had any advantages over using the evercoat products.

Well said!
That would be like paying $380 for a gallon of lacquer paint…just because it has the pretty Glasurit birdie on the can
but we all get stuck paying too much for stuff now and then, I suppose.
