im new to this forum. here’s some pics, of a quarter panel replacement and paint job.. it came out ok , it could be better.
one question if you guys can help me out, I painted the car, and I noticed were the bondo starts u can kind of sorta see like a pancake
was it because I didn’t sand enough or the primer wasn’t shot thick enough. oh and I shot the primer with a 1.4 tip I know I should shot it with a bigger tip, but im limited.

    thanks for the input.

How long did you leave the filler to set before you painted it? Did you paint with 1k or 2k primer?

It could be down to not having sanded/blended the filler well enough, but more likely I think due to filler sinking and absorbing some of the primer solvents.

yea I think I didn’t blend it enouph..it sat with bondo for about a week before I primered it, and I used a 2k poly primer surface, but I shot it with a 1.4 tip,,,, im thinking not enough primer got on the car ..im not sure
