We are in the middle of restoring a 72 Le Mans sport convertible and am having a tough time locating decent reman quarter panels. So far the only ones available have been through cross canada as apparently Goodmark does not reproduce these. The fit is horrible at the rear bumper area and looks like they were beat on by monkeys in the bush. I could probably run down to Alabama or Tennessee and find a decent shell but its time consuming and this shell is nice other than someone butchered the quarter panels. Have been on numerous sites with no luck so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you mess around with the old stuff very much, go to a book store and pick up a copy of Hemmings Motor News. I wasn’t sure if you already tried that, but they call it the “old car bible” and I always tell people if you can’t find it in Hemmings, you’ll probably have to make it, LOL!
Because that is not a real popular model, it’s probably going to be tough to find s decent quality stamping.
I buy stuff from a place in Illinois called The Parts Place. They have alot of “new old stock”, and I have always been happy with the quality, and the shipping packaging. I don’t have the number here at home, but if you need it let me know and I’ll get it to you when I get to the offfice tomorrow.
You can also check their website classifieds http://www.hemmings.com, if you haven’t aready. Otherwise, you’re gonna have to make one, LOL!

Anyway, good luck, and let us know what you come up with.
Jim
