as my daughter begins to get scratches on the paintable parts of the bumpers of her 2008 Honda CRV, I am wanting to shoot these myself. As a novice I have painted 2 cars in the past but never dealt with new car like this especially the plastic flexible bumpers.

I know a picture would be better but the car is not here, so i am wondering if there is a how to on repair/painting minor scrathes on this type of bumper?

    steps proceedures anywhere?

    thanks

While this doesn’t do a lot to address your exact situation without a photo, there is a video right here on this sight about blending bumper paint. Hope it helps when you get to that stage?

real minor scratches you can just seal up the plastic and put on a couple layers of HB primer and call it a day. no rigid fillers.
