Assuming you dont run into major problems like soft-unsandable undercoats, how many hours would it take to prep and refinish 1/4, both doors, and the fender. one side of a car. from prep, prime, to shine. and it has to look good too. and lets say you already have your spray cards too. and lets make it a satin silver honda accord 2002. heated booth and no blending. handles and window molding R&I. front and rear lamps masked.

ill start off. id say around 6 hours. blocking sanding masking and all.

okay why are we painting this car scratched ?? Filler repairs ??

Just that you mention blocking ??

Lets assume it is scratched one end to the other

I would say 6hrs is pretty tight, you would be doing anyone a favour at that time allowance.

If you are r&i door handles, mirror, scraper moulding etc

I would be wanting at the very least a days work out of it 8hrs

Plus satin silver can be a mile out on certain paint brands

I really daren’t answer this one

As said though – it is totally dependant one the damage. Heavy filler work could easily suck up a few hours.

LOL those are really some good answers. i ALWAYS under estimate my repair times no matter what. so 6 hours would most likely turn in to 10.

just for fun, lets say its a re-due for color match and slightly wavey lines. no bondo.
