Everyone by now knows my situation. Anyways yesterday as I was getting home I noticed a neighbor had a work getting down to his daugther’s car by a mobile guy. He knows the mobile guy because he flips cars on the side and this mobile guy fixes them up for him. And no I don’t think this guy ratted me out.
At any rate I noticed he had a turbine and I really liked the idea of possibly doing mobile repairs on the side and being 100% legit with a business license and being complaint with the 3oz cups and enviro.
My main question is about turbines, is there one system better then another? Do you use one gun for everything or can you get different guns for primer, base and clear? Are the guns all the same or are there brands?
I did research and watched some videos but can’t quite get a gripe on wether or not it would be worth it.
Thanks everyone for your help. I know alot of guys get on me about stupid questions.

not sure if mobile repair and side business go hand in hand. you kinda have to work around other peoples schedulesAugust 26, 2012 at 1:32 am #38057if you set up a tent in the back yard, just run your airhose out there
Flame me if you must….but for Nex, how about going to the aerosol system. You can get the base coat paint mixed at your supplier and put in an aerosol can. You can buy 1k clear or there is even 2k clear in an aerosol can (there is a button on the can you press, then shake to mix the 2 parts together). Just use the can up before it all hardens. And then get some blending solvent in an aerosol can and you are set. You can paint all the grilles you want & bumper blow ins. Its quiet, relatively inexpensive and compliant. I think you can even get 2k urethane primer in this system.
Kinda cheesy, but I suppose if this stuff has its place, this would be it.
