I’m just wondering If I’m the only one using them here (other then ding), Is anyone out their trying them?? Opinions???

I’ve been using them to cut down on my solvent intake and have found the price & efficiency to be pretty well on par with the higher voc products.

I buy the highest VOC they sell at the jobber:laugh:
Barry always told me the higher voc products were generally much better than there low counterparts… He even says the same about his own Cali products.. Thats what I call them.. Flippin California jackasses.. No offense Han.. i think he is a Cali boy

Jimmo it has to do with the solvents and resins also.. Can only use certain resins as well as solvents in the low voc products.. that is their drawbacks best to my memory.. Of course its been years since he and I talked abou that very subject, but I still think after all the fumes and uh hum smoke ( remember burning the blend:laugh: ) that was the gig brotha

We tried them, but my base would not dry fast enough.I am currently using the crossfire line but they started me off with crossfire c3 base and it was too slow so now we use crossfire platium and it seems to work pretty good.We use to spray alot of PPG but the supplier is over 50 miles away.

The crossfire platiumn is their first and only basecoat,I believe that Sherwin williams line calls it Dimensions base, which I believe both are at 5.o VOC.It seems to work good on older cars, anything later than 2003 we use PPG Global, just we have to order it and wait.
