I never Oxy -Acetylene welded before so I thought I would Give it a try on some patch panels on the bottom of an old ’79 GMC pickup bed. Went well until I got a big sunken spot in the middle of the panel above the patch. I hammered and dollied the weld to stretch it back out and relieve some tension to no avail. The area is pretty stiff and won’t push up well from the back side. Any suggestion on getting it back to shape. I really don’t want to use that much filler.
