Mirror removal???

Any one know how to get the rearview mirror off on a 98 mercedes sl500 convertable? This thing has me stumped:unsure:
if its like that audi ya dam near gotta pull the window frame an theirs only 1 bolt but the wires are clipped to the window frame all the way to the bottom of the door fucking germam engineers:evil:
I think they are spring loaded, bend forward and rear to get at torx bolts from outside. Its tempting to unhook spring but dont total bitch to get back on.
its the inside rear view. Thanks all for the thoughts. Got the new one in. at least benz engineering isnt like audi engineeringB) . mirror is just grab and pull. Rear bumper comes off with 2 bolts. dont even have to take the trim panel off to get the side mirror off. Parts are damn expensive though. 2 mirrors, one seat belt and a small storage compartment in the dash was $2500:ohmy:
