have been try some onyx basecoat on some whoesale work,when tere is time,any tips or tricks from the long time users,just did wa 994L on a hhr, side tone is dark used alt ma263.75 colro max chip# lighter and cleaner.is any one using the blend pro additve???for wet bedding or for stepping out there blends.it seemed to not what to lighten on the verey edge of the blend ,ididnt whant it to get to dry and lay down all grainey. any info would be great< what guns are you using for apply the onyx base ? tip size as well
AnonymousJune 2, 2011 at 5:08 am #31099I use the glasurit product for a wet bed, the onyx one sucks really bad….and you cant really tack it. I only really use it on light metallic colors for the most part, apply it first then base. 90% of the GM colors I usually use standard, the rest of the time typically it will be the MPV 1 (most popular variant), WA994L I am pretty sure I’ve always used standard on, think its a light yellowy-silver….tougher color on small blends from what I recall. I like a 1.4 with onyx.
