whats going on got an 84 ford f250 and i took the bed off and sand blasted the frame and painted the rear. like any truck it has the rust around the top of the fenders.. whats the best way to do the body work?> i dont want to over lap the panels and create a pocket to catch dirt/water maybe butt weld them together? but how do i get to the back side of it and fix it? any helps great.
November 21, 2011 at 7:43 am #34325The best fix is a new boxside.Your other option is to do an aftermarket wheel arch rust repair panel.The old school way is to take out your inner wheel well,do your rust panel with a butt weld,metal work it,then install your inner wheel well.Much faster to just put on a whole new panel 😉
