planet color candies

    hey guys looking for anyone with experience in painting candy colors. i have a car to paint and it is going tangerine pearl a very light and poppy orange. i have no personal experience with candies as im pretty much a collision painter. i have talked to a few guys on how to do this and have a rough i dea but if anyone has any input or a good write up on how i should go about this it would be appreciated. its going to be painted with sherwill’s planet color

    well ive shot some of the 3 stages with it an it seems ta pretty easy so far but next week im doing a bike tank with the candy so i will let ya know the stuff seems ta like ta be shot fairly wet when ive used some of the other effects so im going ta do the same with the candy keep us posted on how it works for ya …..all in all ive been really impressed with how easy it has been ta use plus the price doesnt seem 2 shabby for what ya can do with it…bondo

    I don’t know that this is any help…but in 2008 the Students at the local trade school painted an HHR for a competition with this stuff. They did a Candy Green colour for the main body colour. I saw the car when it was complete and the quality looked fantastic. The students painted it themselves without the instructors. So I would think if they were able to do that as students, then it must be relatively user friendly. The feedback I heard was positive about the product, other than the price being extremely high.
