The paint on my older corvette has been blistering for the past 3-4 years. I’ve owned it for about 8 years. I assume the blistering is due to outgassing of some form because of improper prep when it was repainted the last time.
I want to strip all the old paint off and repaint. I plan to strip the flat areas with a razor blade and sand the curves. I don’t want to use chemical strippers.
Is there any prep i can use to ensure there’s nothing left in the fiberglass that will cause a repeat of the blistering?
just make sure ya get all the old primer off usally thats what caused the blisters 😉
