    DC92

Its their economical clear, but in my opinion it cost you more than the other clears because your baking it twice as long. I’ve been told it gets its name from the year it came out (1992), old technology. It does shine very nice, but it runs very, very easy & doesn’t polish all that great. Drying time is too long.

    DC5100

A great all around clearcoat, It is a bit tricky to lay down nice, but once you get used to it you have no problems. It goes tack-free in 10 minutes so its great for people without a bake booth. Another nice feature with this clear is that you can mix it into your diamond basecoat and have an approved singlestage for cutting in parts/jambs. It seems to go on thick and it does run a bit easy, more because you want to put more on than you need. It polishes very well.

    DC5300

Probably Diamonts best clearcoat, their price reflects that also. It is a very nice clear, easy to lay down as long as you use proper reducers/hardeners. If you try to speed it up to much your finish will suffer severely. Drying times are descent & it polishes very well also.

    DC5600 production clear

Very nice for a production clear, it goes on nice & still dries fast. It doesn’t seem to produce as nice of a finish as the others but its still acceptable. Polishes very well too.

    DC5800 Low VOC Clear

I’ve just started using this clear, so far I’ve really enjoyed it. It goes on nice and drys quick, I’ll update this as I become more familiar with this product.
