The RM Diamont paint line is a very user-freindly line. The paint covers usually in 2-3 coats (when reduced 2:1). I have found the color matches to be excellent, combined with their sprayed out color chips it is very easy to obtain a good match. Their undercoats are very good aswell, they have a wide range of primers depending on what you need. The prices in my area I find to be a bit high, but redo’s are far and few between when using it properly.
They offer an excellent UV primer as well as Low-Voc. Their clearcoats aren’t as nice as some of them out their (in my opinion), but theres a wide variety to suit your need. I’ve tried their DC92,5100,5300 & 5600 clearcoats. These are their most popular, 5300 is by far the nicest, but it still wouldn’t be my choice of clearcoat.
So bottom line in my review of this system is it very user freindly, high quality, but falling a bit short in the clearcoat department.
AnonymousMay 11, 2008 at 8:54 pm #10329I don’t find that it covers in 3 coats but more like 4 or 5
and , for the money , I found other clears to be just as good or better  but I’ve used it for years and is in my opinion one of the best lines going. but not cheap B) some of the red tinters are over $300 a quart.
