jimmo, i saw the video of you priming the Mazda mirrors and thought of this tool. It’s perfect for mirrors!

On a side note, how about making the shout box more like a chat box? Something like MSN chat?
    It’s hard to get a word in edgewise… 🙂

I actually have one, the magnets fell out though!

When I paint mirrors I attach the mirror to that then hang them from a wire off the ceiling, just kinda hold the handle while I spray. Those mirrors were a bit odd, aftermarket with components that could not be removed… I don’t think that baby would have worked well in that situation, they are handy though.

We could get a better chat window, but it would be hard to fit it somewhere that people can see. I like having it compact because any visitor that comes to the site can see people talking and gets others participating. Otherwise I think it would be a link to a pop-up that might not get so many users. But I’m always open to suggestions.

The site is built using a content manager called joomla. Their are many plugins that add different features and functionalites & new things come out all the time that I keep my eyes on. If you wanted to see whats available check out this site http://extensions.joomla.org/ , if you go down to the chat section you can demo a few different types and we can try one out if you like it. Theirs two different versions of joomla, 1.0 & 1.5, the plugin would have to be compatible with 1.5. Try and look through the non-commercial ones, the commercial ones I need to pay for…if it looks usefull though I don’t mind.

Theirs this one here : http://www.fijiwebdesign.com/products/ajaxchat-the-joomla-ajax-chat-solution.html , you’d have to register to demo it. The chat interface is nice but I don’t know what the shoutbox module will be like that comes with it, they don’t really show you it. I don’t know if i wanna spend $50 on it and it end up sucking…be nice if I could see what the shoutbox was like…
