Hey guys… Thanks for all the feedback about Sikkens Autowave VS. SW AWX. I really appreciate it! I’ve got another question for you all.
Our new booth is fitted with blower towers in the corners for drying the base. But our new dual-bay downdraft prep station has no supplemental air movement system for waterborne drying. We were going to just purchase 4-5 stand blowers with two venturi style blower heads per stand. But one of our jobbers gave us some info on the Meech Speed Dry System. This is a system that has all the piping built in above, with drop-down arms from the ceiling of the prep station. At the ends of the drop down tubes, the adjustable blower-heads are attached (with quick disconnects on the drop-down arms, to get them out of the way when you aren’t using them, no banging your head on them!:chair ). This seems to be a very functional system, without having the air hoses on the floor, attached to the stand blowers, and having to move them all around. My question to you guys… Have any of you used this system, or something similar? If so, how do you like it? Is it more convenient than having hoses and stands everywhere? Anyone who has any experience with this system, I would really appreciate your opinion! Thanks!:cheers
