i think the pro lite comes with three tips an 2 caps ….my son has been getting a really nice finish with the 1.4 an te20 aircap uses it for both base an clear

the rp is the gun i would go with it does everything well i never have really warmed up ta the hvlp version its just a lil 2 slow for clearing in my book
i think the minimum you should consider is a 5 horse 2 stage with the 80 gallon tank ……might cost ya a little bit more but worth it in the long run :teach
i think we bought a case of 75 sata cups lids an strainers for around 90$ could be a lil more cant remember for sure
ta be honest if ya glass in a repair properly ive seen them out last a poorly done metal patch job both repairs have a place just remember fiberglass dont rust…. :nothingtoad
sure like the finish we get from the pro lite with the 1.4 didnt spray clear for shit with the 1.3 not as fast as a sata rp but it does lay a really nice finish

ya know i sorta agree with ya we have just started using the sata cups an ya there nice in some ways but lets be honest i never had any problems using the aluminum cups either didnt care for the 3m system much but its handy if ya gotta shoot upside down but how often ya need that anyway the biggest thing i like with the sata cups is the fact ya can mix an store your base in em but thats about it…im still a lil on the line with em…wouldnt mind getting some smaller aluminum pots for bumper covers an spot repairs though :teach
