Ditto on the Devilbiss 670 Plus gun its a Good gun I use it for Clear.
Wish I had a couple more! gee whiz Paintnfool 5 of them? :blink:I also have a GTI for Base its also a good gun.
If I were to buy any new guns I would get a Sata 3000 RP just here good things about it from every one that has one.
I have heard a Sata RP compares to the 670 Plus But I dont know as I have never used a Sata yet.I would like to try the Iwata for Base coats and see how good it really is for Metallics But before I buy one I will be sure to flat out were out my my little GTI before I spend $500-600 on another gun. dang there expensive! :cens
sorry Stone. I couldn’t tell. 🙂 No Hard feelings. Just don’t dump paint on my head. 😛DoRight, you are right, the 62 Impala was my first car I’ve done 3 months ago and there are a few little ripples being its black you can see them if you look hard down the side but standing back with out trying to look for them it looks really cool. The finish is like a mirror. I take a lot of time trying to make these cars look as good as they can get. I work under 3 sodium lights that shows everything.
The 28 roadster was my second car and it was nice to begin with, so it came out very good. It was purple before.
The 69 Camaro belongs to my good long time friend and that car came out the nicest. I knew he was going to take it to the Friday night cruise and show it. There is about 300 cars that go every week. So, I was hoping that i could pick up a few restoration for some side cash.
WO Waite a min Bro dumping paint on each others heads is something of a favorit past time around here :exci :silly:
As far as a few side jobs go I’m sure your shop is going to have the phone ringing off the hook a soon as that car gets seen locally!
Stone, think what you want… what you see are the first cars I have painted, and that was about 2 to 3 months ago. I have nothing to prove by lying about this. Sorry you feel like that.
I am sure stone is just paying you a compliment The cars look fantastic for a New painter especially for Black cars!
On a side note The camera is very forgiving I am sure if we were there we could pic it apart for imperfections couldn’t we?
You being the painter know were all the little imperfections are and I am sure you have a bad spot or two dont you?Well that’s a sticky point I will be doing more than two a year if and when my arm heals up good enough from all the surgeries from the last 18 months.
I know when I first looked into it I said to myself well I can do 2 My wife can do 2 My kid can do 2 My neighbor could do 2 ect…
But Its only a matter of time before some one turns me in for having a paint booth.
Whats wrong with buying it for the killer deal then buying the different needle and Tip for it?
I have seen them advertised by a couple different companies.
I thought if I got a Sata I would have to get the extra needle and tips for it, 1.3 1.4 1.5 The down side is there needle and tip combos are a matched sets and need to stay together and are very expensive.I have to agree with you a 100%
I have spent a good part of the day going through all the posted BS on 3 of them all in fine print talk about Epoxy being equal or superior but they lead the buyer in saying Epoxies are hard to work with hard to repair etc… What a bunch of BS
I wonder who’s Epoxy is rated Best now that would be very interesting
I have checked out all three products the only one to post the results of the testing is Rust bullet.
The only reason a company would do so would be to get sell there product to the military like the Navy for there ships Iron ships constant salt water spray = RUST
The only product that comes close to Rust Bullet is Waster why would you not want the best coating possible on a restoration? :wak
