ITS INSANE Gotta do what your instructed but what really makes me angry is he told me if I am doing it at cost then I am paying me tech’s too much can you even begin to understand that My tech’s are the ones that make me look good with customers and if the jobs are done right Then all is well
Perhaps He needs a reality check I think this time being a manger sucks

Thanks your right brought this up a managers meeting this aft
so now I was told to do it for 1000.00 and to have it all done
    by friday
Ah the joys of working dealerships
I know how much it should be but thats that I guess
Then at the end of month when we lose percentage etc. etc..
If you know the drill its always the managers fault

Thanks but I have to do it for 800.00 as per manager and that includes materials.
Wouldn’t it be nice if you were sometimes given the benifit of the doubt as a manager rather than working for a owner
I was going to pay 24 for paint and 5 hours for r and i
so I could do it at cost and it is going from white to red so you know the cost of that paint we are also going to do it in one stage (uno)
    thanks
just what i quoted but was told I was too high
    ug””””””””””””””

I think I would take it back and ask them to address the issue
even though they went all out
I would thank them on the fine job they did and even if they
said they would do it for a minimal charge it might work in your favour and they may do it for free
I did not see the estimate but they could have would probably have had enough in materials to do it
I know my guys squak when they do things for free but in a case like yours I would probably have paid the guys and ate it in my cost
I would go back and ask it never hurts
Espically if they got paid enough As all managers I would hate to loose a customer for so little
If there is any damage to bumper itself they may ask you to pay for that
    Hope this helps

I have had a ad with apprenticeship and my replys are for mechanical etc ………I am glad thay are so eager to get the jobs but do they read the ads what are you going to get when they do not even pay attention to what the ads say or is it maybe a problem with thier attention skills or perhaps reading
    Boy it sure is scarey

new to the forum I am a bit diffrent as I have always worked as a manager……….whats out there is scarey indeed
My main beef is ” it’s not my job to do that”, but maybe its because I am a female in a male oriented business……… been doing it for 20 years. Although I never actually worked on the floor I pay attention and can advise without actually doing it
Took all kinds of courses to be sure that the wool has not been pulled over my eyes Interesting business but tough and getting tougher. We need to show the younger generation that this is a worth while profession
thats my thoughts for what they are worth
