Mo, if I am not hard on myself then you all will be! haha thanks though!!

Jimmo, I know the ODG comment didn’t hold much water as I had 180 grit scratches. I use A/P on new plastics scuffed with a pad, but thanks for the support!

Lild, the video ended like yours, nice and glossy, and with a run of course lol.

Nelson, It is an iwata lph 1.3 orange cap. I am using DBC500 color blended. it mixes 1:1 with your color on your last coat.

Yea, no big deal, just cut it down with 600 a bit and finished it off with higher grits, it wasn’t bad.

Welcome! Where are you from? I think it is hard to be a painter, then it makes it that much harder to be mobile, being really interests me! What is your setup, and do you go to homes and business? Does must of your work consist of solvent blends.

Throw some pictures up of your work! and once again welcome!

That’s for sure! I wish I could spray in a booth so I know if most of my problems are user or environment related.

Scuff, seal and shoot. Odds are though you will have to do some minor body work for highly debris if this is a front bumper cover.
 Hi what was wrong with this video ? I am nor joking :wak
For starters he uses to coarse of a grit (800) to just nib down some trash. Then he only followes it up with 1200, typically you want to remove your 1200 with some 2000 at least, then 3000 on darker colors.

Then he uses super duty, which is so old school, it actually is one of the harshes compounds that I know off that will do more harm then good, followed with just one compound pad and no polishes or glazes. Not to mention how slow he moves with a foam pad, which is just asking for trouble. To top it off, he uses wax on a freshly painted car.

odds are the next fews days will show severe swirls and minor sand scratches.
How do u like the w400 with the orange cap on it? I have a lph with the orange cap sometimes it seems a bit slow. Also nice tekna how do you like? 7e7 cap? I’m thinking about picking a couple up along with a sri pro spot gun.
The w400 is a converted LPH400, the internals are all the same and Ryan Brown gave me a great deal on the w400 and I had spare parts from my LPH400 so I converted. I love the LPH400 with an orange cap for base. It is almost impossible for me to mottle with that gun. The speed doesn’t bother me, as I am doing small parts, I personally prefer it.

I love the tekna and yes it has a 7e7 cap.

The sri, needs parts and I barely use it, but will rebuild it eventually.

Great for the price, the bumpers however are a bit wavy and they are bare plastic.
