I dunno, those bike guys can be pretty picky.

You mean you didn’t do PDR on that one?… 😛

I asked, the owner wants to keep it that Red…
I get tired of Red Mustangs. if they ain’t red. they’re white with blue stripes or Blue with white striped Shelby Wannabe’s.
Or of course the Silver with Black stripe eleanor wannabe’s

    Their primers are garbage.

I’ve also heard something about throwing hot Soaking wet towels on and letting it sit for awhile…

    Looks good to me,
What condition did this one come in with? (Damage wise)

I was a little surprised to see the garbage on your booth floor.
I was sure if you spend that much on a booth it would be self cleaning. 😉

Yep. once you got this one fixed. You could throw some of that Mold Release agent on it. throw it in that Molding foam and have a mold in 10 minutes.

Then charge him out the ass to sell them a Super Light weight, Amazingly strong Carbon fiber Front end.

You got any pictures of what this thing goes on?

Well technically Endust is a Mixture of odorless mineral spirits and Trichloroethane (Chlorothene).

Only thing that would worry me about using it is the Butane propellant might leave a dry powdery residue.
And also because Chlorothene is one of the chlorinated hydrocarbons (Although one of the most diluted)
I would be worried because of it being an oxidant although mild. It will increase the oxidation of metal…
I guess if it isn’t a bare metal surface though. There probably wouldn’t be much problem.

I do also have a problem with static on a lot of cars… You can see dust flying sideways in the booth… pretty crazy stuff.

She always looks like she wants that camera to burn in hell. :lol1

They still haven’t got that thing finished?

One thing I’ve found that irritates me about certain clients, is when they’re all over you. Rushing your ass to get it done, making you work excessive hours. You get the car done, and they park it and don’t touch it for six months… :wak

So the 66 getting some tuggin’ done?
I don’t recall you saying you had to pull anything on it.

Ding has one of those Pure Air systems that runs right off his Air Compressor (Y harness right before his gun). SAS as I recall.
He said he hasn’t been using it, Not too sure on the reasoning.

I just can’t seem to get a good enough view.
I either Fog up Goggles, or have killer Glare from the florescent lights…

I think all they need to do is stop bowing the lenses on the Full face masks…
It’s that damn Bow in the lens that glares everything.

In my Ultravue it gets so bad and distracting you can barely see the car at all. And what you can see in some area’s isn’t enough to judge orange peel and film build.

I have asked damn near every painter that I’ve met when this conversation comes up what he prefers.
And even with the 3M Face Shields they’re bitching about glare.

Like I said. they just need to do like welding helmets and make flat lenses… Sure it becomes more restrictive of peripheral vision. But I’d rather see directly in front of me perfectly than I would to see a whole lotta’ glare everywhere.
