Its not only you having problems with colour matches using Dupont waterborn. There are alot of shops tossing the system due to poor matches. Its the nature of the beast,get a new system or continue to have problems.
Try single stage paint with a flattening agent if you must have flat black and cannot get the matt clear to work.
Try fixing the dents and the rust first before paint. Keep trying :rock

I use more SS than you :p
Make sure the clear is fully cured. Clean throughly between each step. finish off with an ultra fine glaze and a detailer spray.
If its going to be stripped or blasted why not do it in Epoxy than SS wet on wet? just a suggestion. Less work. :cheers
Sand the clearcoat flat with 600 grit and shoot 2 more coats
Is it matt clear or gloss ? Need more info
