:welc some of us rock, some of us polka, and some of waltz, :pcorn: but we’re all glue sniffers :exci
looks good barry. there gonna miss ya there i’m sure
no doubt about it, …. any shop would 😉 :pcorn:
sounds/looks ridiculous , but I bin there done that, bunggies and rope are a glass installers friend. 😛 :cheers
:clappy :rofl :lol1 :rock
coarse as soon as I seen this the wheels were turning … I’ve done similar with a torch heating pieces of wire and laying them in … but today I took a stud in the stud gun , bent the stud around so it grounded the collar and presto , a melting rebar/staple. :pcorn:
well once you get things figured out there’s not much tinting needed, but my point is “real” painters,… can and will, … i’ve seen many a wanna be, that couldn’t tint and match paint to save their life :hunt
I suppose it helps if your color blind :stoned
I can paint 9 cars a day 😡 with 9 paint booths and nine painters :p :silly:
young feller just did a box side and I’m impressed , … this shit (limco) rocks :rock
actually (paint match and blend) is on most estimates we do and I know real painters always check their match, tint and spray, spray outs regularly and if in doubt, blend it out, if they care at all about the color match  …. :dnc
oh there will be some tinting and spray outs till we get things figured out but thats true for any new system :kofee
went through it years ago when we put in the diamont …part of the job , matching paint is what we do.
ps. covers way better than diamont did …. 3 coats , instead of 5 or 6
we are using the limco supreme and yup it’s alot like diamont when mixed as a base coat. :pcorn:
just started using it so time will tell
but the clear is pretty darn nice for the price too. and the tinters are 1/3 the price of diamont.:dnc
start buffing with wool pad and an aggressive cutting compound :rock
1500 is pretty fine …. we use 800 grit and an orientation coat of clear base prior to color paint and blend
