Thanks for the info buddy. It can be a bit overwhelming just getting into this, there’s way too many options :lol1 my next race is July 8th, then I’ll be looking to re-shoot my front bumper. It really shouldn’t be too hard, my bumper is skimpy and there’s so much else going on that even if it doesn’t turn out perfect, nobody will see small imperfections.

A co-worker has an old Devilbiss gun he’s willing to give me for primer, this guy painted for 4 years he said it’s perfect for this. As for a primary paint gun I’ll check out Transtech and Airgunza AZ3 HTE II 1.8 for primer. Thanks again for the info and advice.

That’s good to hear, this looks like a good informative forum. I’m not in a position to drop everything for a school so I’ll follow the passion with all of my extra time. I CAN’T wait for my first gun to get here, I feel like a kid nearing Christmas. I’m going to start in my garage for all the practice and learning possible, then take it to our unused paint booth at work for my bumper/hood. I figure the best way to get my name out for good paint is by doing my own stuff and showing it off.

If you guys have any great informative threads you recommend reading, post them up here. Until then I’ll keep searching.
