3M also makes smooth transition tape to work with DART tape
Response from my customers has been that it is too slow to sand. Also it is not cheap. I worked with the FE rep in our area and have not had many repeat sales.
Standox is a DuPont owned product so I could see them covering on a warranty issue, even if they were not staying in the same family line.
