Hopefully I can get the topsides of the hood and decklid painted and get the stripes on it this weekend. It’s been a real struggle finding the free time to work on this one.

Why not just buy the patch panels for the bed you already have? Can’t imagine them being too expensive to ship.

I use http://www.smartshoppersinc.com for a few misc. items. I like the fact that on things like mixing cups and things they will sell you a few cups at a cheap price vs. having to buy a case of 100. They used to be super cheap across the board, now they have a few deals while being pretty much inline with alot of other stuff. Their shipping policies are a bit odd, but service is great.

Autobodytoolmart has pretty good service but some of their pricing is a bit high on some items.

http://www.pivco.net is another place that’s alot like smartshoppers.

As of now there’s 2 guys in the mechanical shop (the shop owners) and 2 guys (including me) in the body shop.

How long you think it will take 2 of us to get those projects done?
Thats a big place! :pcorn: Looks like you have plenty of work. The shop owner must be on a budget ;)
Something like that. They’ve only been at this location for about a year. Old location was alot nicer setup, so I’m told. I’m still holding out for all the improvements that were promised to the shop.

You got a pinhole in that welded seam most likely.

I haven’t got a thing to do with it, have to ask the shop owners, no heat and no insulation in the bodyshop.

I have good using masking tape to pick things out of the clear without doing too much damage ;)
I got the first two out using that method, the last one the clear was holding on to him to good so I had to dig him out with a q-tip with the cotton head cut off.

Problem came in when I decided it made sense to blow clear into the divots left behind from the extractions.

Got a little carried away with the clear and hung runs in those spots.

My mistake but I still feel inclined to blame it on the insects. :lol1
