    Tilting stands are great for new hoods, just fasten them on i start off vertical seal both sides, then colour underside, tilt flat and give it the heavy message on the outer side, i like to give hoods a good flooding of clear, i could never paint a hood vertical and be happy with it.

    i find wires and hooks to the ceiling a bit of a hassle.

    i had ta fix a couple scrapes in the top of it mixed an 1/8th of pint of base an just spotted those in an cleared it

    cuz i get lazy an they work :p actually they have a place but i dont use em on spot repairs but on completes they are a godsend :weights just a lil ins policy though on that cheap complete 😉

    ive done both 320 an 400 an never had a problem as long as i did a proper job sealing it 😉 if ya put a coat of sealer on an still see sand scratches then ya need another coat :teach of sealer :chair :chair :chair :chair back in the day we used ta do em with 220 an use synthol enamel sealers b4 topcoating an never had any issues either course some folks could break a crowbar in a sand box 2 😛 😛 :rofl
