due to the expence of good clear on some of the cars i have to paint i was forced to use rubbrseal clear, tryed the euro, the glamor, and the speed clear, and all i can say is i find it to be total crap, it sprays like crap, it lays out like crap, it dies back like crap, it peels off if it bridges your masking tape, so basicly if you like this stuff more power to you but if you have never used it dont bother in my opinion, i got into an arguement with the salesman about it, told him it has no body, the guy tells me its not much different then spies clear!!!! lmfao i told him he needed to get his head examined, dont know what “cost effective” clears your useing but think ill stick to transtar till i find something better, any other sugestions?

I dont have dupont codes but for bikes, as ben said its a shot in the dark. With all the bikes i do i have found the best way is to find the closest color chip and tint from there. Same applies to a camera. One thing to note is that bike colors tend to be more clean than cars so most color formulas will be simple with not alot of toners mixed in. It makes them easy to mix or tint by eye.
the EYE dont lie :rofl :rofl :rofl well somtime ya can make it tell a tale or 2 cant we:teach :teach :teach

well i just put a tablespoon of thinner in the gun swish it around an trigger it into a catch can take the lid off an wipe it out with a blue paper towel then repeat till the thinner is clean coming outta the gun ….then i put it in the gunwasher an walk away mind u i keep my gunwasher thinner as clean as possible!!!there not for throwing a dirty old gun in without prewashing em first as far as im concerned there is no reason ta hook a gun to the airhose ta clean em either been doing all mine like this for yrs an never had a problem ever
