Hi Guy’s
Yes its a single stage and I need it in a single stage as well too match the rest of the car.
I have been talking too BASF and a Local finishmasters for it no luck so far from Finishmasters BASF said to order it from a shop in Minnesota god only knows how much that will cost with shipping.
Any way code is 102 available BASF # 558929 in Gasurit 22 line can any of you guys that run the Glasurit line mix it? I only need a qt.
That probably more than I need evenAlso how hard is this stuff to blend in?
Can I Scuff and buff the stuff?
I think that is an American sunroof corporation sun roof
Watch out with it and every piece on it You really are dealing with extremely rare pieces!
I have an American Sunroof in my 72 Charger, Parts are so rare for them they are worth more than there weight in GOLD! :S ask me how I know? My car size stands alone almost they only put it in a few cars. The good thing is there are a few parts around still all though extremely hard to find and finding some one who actually knows how to work on them even fewer.
Don’t bother calling the existing American sunroof corporation they do not make parts or support the old roofs at all and refuse too.I may have a contact for a guy in AZ that may have parts.
Trouble with any of these factory sunroof cars is they had to leave the factory while being built prior to 1973 to go to American sunroof corporation to have the roof put in.
After 73 they had kits the factory could do them selves and quantity’s went way up and parts are easier to get but they are different roofs with different parts than earlier modelsThat right side looks like its all the way up as hi as it will go though arg it also looks like both mounts
have been bent down were it bolts too the skin but it might be its supposed to be like that too.ARG Ive got to go to hospital now to pre register for Fridays surgery Ill be back in a few hours.
I will give Bondo a call and see what he says Stone I know both of you guys talk all the time maybe youll talk to him before I call him.Thank you
By the looks of it maybe???? I haven’t tried any thing yet!!!, I did notice both are loose a little bit on the trunk side but aren’t moving either.
In this pick it shows that the hing will move down a bit by that grove.

This one I guess could be moved up a bit does that look like the right way to proceed? at least that’s what I was planning before tweaking any thing first.

My past body work has been trial and error with mostly errors and its getting expensive and time consuming.
Why did I know

C’MON GUY’S gimme a break I know dang well I gotta bend things but WERE so I don’t mess it up.
I cant afford a new one. not too mention they don’t make new ones and replacements are so hard to find it’s not even funny.I can buy new after market hinges and was thinking of trying that first?????
