Lots of air flow and flash time you will be fine…..dont load it up or it will never dry…

My shops will be getting the trarnning in the next few weeks.. seems that the paint store can put the classes on and get us up to speed… just more shit to make us pay for a permit….

the blowers work ok but the best thing we did was mount fans on each corner of the booth.. we have them all hooked to one switch but we can turn the speeds up and down and angle them how ever we want…the air flow from them with just a little heat works out great.. we did all this for under 1,000 $$$$$ per booth

Feather feather feather do not fill unless the scratch has dented the panel… on hoods and trunks sometimes its better to r&i the part and strip it with aircraft stripper.. I have a 08 dodge charger in one shop and a little honda in the other that are so bad we will be stripping most of the car to do it right..if this site keeps working for me in the next few days I will get some pics up..

:woohoo: Im have ppg in my shop snd in my paint system we have a clear base binder that I can spray on a blend panel to help hold the blends down… In hot weather its a must to do this… other than that I will spray all panles than do as fast nib with 800 dry and blend out and clear coat… the jobs are comming out super clean now…

we only have to spot nib and polish most of the time unless its a show car or say a bmw that had little peel..

Its alll priced high… for cheap primer we have used on some race cars and things that dont matter is transtar… pretty good build but I have no clue how long it will hold up…I have put there clears on alot of used cars and it did just fine…

We most of the time will jamb the car than prep the out side and paint it… I would look into what ever paint system you are going to use as they are all differnt… some will have a product you can spray over basecoat that has sat over night to help it stick..

We will tear down after we get the customer to sign a repair order only and only than.. we get 2-4 hrs on all cars we tear down at 86-90 a hr we charge 60 a day storage and all tow fees…if a customer keeps the salvage we will wave the fees for them except the towing…
