I’VE been dealing with this forever . everyone thinks my rates are higher than the other 2 shops but we all have the same.I’ll write the sheet to fix it right if thats too much in thier eyes then so be it. I don’t cater to price shoppers we offer top of the line repairs and thats it, if they want cheap send them to the nearest hack shop.
wait until they all slap a 25% restock fee on everything. we keep returns to a minimum but you still get returns.

I thought he was gonna flip out started ranting and raving had to escort him out the door and off the property. he came back the nest day and apologized his carrier wrote it for a few dollars less. got the job fixed it and he comes in ranting again someone got white paint overspray on the lft side suv is green. i go outside and point out that if he drove between the lines thae ne road paint in town wouldn’t be allover his suv. lol had my detailer clean it off ands added him to my list of people we won’t work for.
been thinking if doing a hood scoop for my superbee out of glass but didn’t know how to start exactly. now i got a good idea on how to do it.
:laugh: you know that would never happen. as for the chips its thier car and they can have any color no matter how bad it looks on thier car.we did a 59 impala cnv. and they picked the worst dingest blue i have ever seen and even the stainless couldn’t make this thing pop. gives me the heebie jeebies everytime i see it.but the owner is happy as a clam.
Good idea nothing worse than a wishy washy customer i have the same problem with a 55 chevy we are doing they want it Glacier blue so i show them a 1955 chip of glacier blue and thats not the right one lol. any way long story short had them go through all the chips pick what they like do a panel then sign it off.I try to get them to commit to a color as soon as possible so it doesn’t hold up progress.
We never repair the beam. I’ll write for skins when needed but when we get it torn down and the beam is only bent say 1/8 it gets a shell.
GM 9088 looks like a candy but isn’t sort of a cherry red maybe a couple of shades darker but you can always tint it lighter.
ok tried it on a guitar i just painted this stuff stinks bad. any way it has alot of yellow tinge to it but doesn’t show when sprayed. 3 min flash between coats 2 coats max. 10 hr air dry at 68. let you know how it looks tommorow.

i have gotten some 923-45 for a rock crawler im doing that is the scratch resistence clear correct any way that what i got to try looks good and should make this jeep im doing pop, till it rolls over:woohoo:
the pos vette is painted now thank god. slapped 3 coats of utech 3.8 poly on it shines like a dime.at least till it needs some wax customer requested cheap and thats what he got but i does look good now im trimming out and finding out i dont have alot of useable trim.
didn’t buy that from autokrafters did ya. we did a 67 last year and absoultely nothing fit but what do ya want from china.good luck with it it already looks good.
