April 25, 2008 at 1:56 am #10217😆 makes cut in a snap. I usually have the problem that they are all different shades of blk with one or two pearls thrown in. one of or ex painters was color blind to a certian degree and the new honda black got him everytime.he would assume it was solid blk and being the lazy bastard he was not chk the code .
April 25, 2008 at 1:52 am #10216I can’t stand that crap I’ve wasted more time with those type of customers than I can handle. If I have cars scheduled out on friday and they are’t here at 6 pm tough shit they can pick it up monday.Just about everytime you try to help a customer they don’t appreciate the gesture.

April 23, 2008 at 2:01 am #10204If it cost you more it cost them more on parts. This isn’t a charity it’s a business. If they have a problem charge the customer and tell them that the is co. refuse to pay for the change in parts prices. If they want recepts on the parts fine copy’em mark out your cost and givem list only.what you pay is none of their business.Just remember you are working for the owner of the vehicle not the ins co.

April 16, 2008 at 9:33 pm #10160We have 2 bays just for restorations but 99 percent is collision work.myself and the owner are the only ones who will work on them everyone else claims there is no money in them lol.the xke had 108 paint hours on it and I get 45% of it plus my salary I laugh all the way to the bank.I have more time to work on them. The funny part is the guy who owns the car was all in a huff about the final bill which he was well aware of the possibilty of the cost invovled in redoing the jag.He had a shop about 45 mins away do the interior and mechanicals they only do euro car restoration and just the engine and interior has cost him 45k now he doesn’t feel bad about what we charged him.The owner of that shop went over what we did and found zip wrong with it.Kinda makes you feel good when someone who has done probably 50 of them gives you a compliment.
