Very ambitious Mo keep up the good work :cheers What products are you using on this job? What kind of yellow tape are you using, do you like it? Do you have problems with the sand thrus showing in your top coat? Look forward to seeing it done, don’t forget to walk the side when you do your midcoat :stoned and careful with your overlaps, and edges ;)
thanks guys, yup new lights in the booth and a new camera! lol, the pic shows valspar primer over the body work, and i sprayed a white transtar sealer over the entire car. the tape is 3M yellow tape. its pretty good for the money and comes off clean if you dont get it wet. much better than norton yellow… barf lol, gonna use matrix base on it and morton glamour clear. :rock
judging by the GMC pics, the shop looks like a much nicer place to work at
that looks like a fun job, glad to see u working on GM’s, much easier to work on IMO compared to chrysler. did u section the rail or anything?
380!?!?! Cough!
sounds like a fun product to buy… :stoned
I like slicksand just fine and it’s half the price.
you mean its half of half of that price :p
how often does a problem like this happen? i think if you use foam tape to close the gap you should be fine. try using the carsystem brand instead of 3M, almost 40% less.
thanks guys for the advice, sounds like theres no easy way out of this job. wire wheel it is 🙁 ill try and get some pics of this job too
uh oh sounds like ya need ta get maaco:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :welc
wow thats some serious work. but nonetheless great work ding
for this same reason i like using USC icing because it doesnt leave a sticky residue. it flows great and doesnt pinhole like the other glazes
If peter piper picked a peck of pickled preppers how many pickled preppers did peter piper pick?
i thought Dekups was the cheapest? i use and like them, they saved me a lot of thinner
You didn’t even need to go into the Mixing room, Mcoke was probably having eye orgasms from the time he saw your booth actually had lighting. :lol1
LOL, why else do they make night vision goggles
that job looks excellent! u da man!
