Its nothing major bro.. you know, cut out bad metal, weld in new.. grind welds..etc.. weld up holes my studwelder pins made when they popped off and took the metal they were welded to with em 😛

I have a 46 street rod truck to do sometime this summer.. I will post up the metal work on that one.. It will need everything.. floor, firewall, cab corners, rockers blah blah blah.. Besides, its worthy of a write up, where as this car, well its just not worth the extra time.. When its finished it will still look like a little old ladies car  with a slick paint job.. White wall tires, factory rims yada yada yada.. Yeah baby yeah :woohoo:

    Great job Nick..

Since we are talking about compounds, have any of you guys tried out the Evercoat Body Majic brands??

I ask because I have found the compound to be on par with 3m’s cut and it only cost less than $10 a quart..
I polish and finish with system one X3 compound/polish..

Those 2 products alone I can buff anything.. any color and make it nice B)

Lets see.. southerpolyurethanes is my main choice however they dont do bases so I am
currently using Metalux base with it

Never mind.. I see you already got me brotha.. No need to add in the Metalux base.. For high end stuff I use PPG base anyways 😛
