well i hate ta admit it but ……….this one of those things i kinda stepped into that i will just do that car aint worth the trouble an the owner is crazy about it go figure but i probably will make him happy he called an begged me all last summer ta do this tryed like crazy ta talk him outa it didnt work i geuss i shoulda talked a little harder gonna see if i can salvage some dignity outta this one:unsure: :unsure: aready told him that doing it this way wasnt right but he wouldnt hear none of that so here i am:blush: use ta do stuff like this all the time when i was younger lets see what happens plus he has been told 6 time that their is no! absolutly no warranty on any of this its truely one of those jobs that anything goes tried like hell ta talk him into buying another car he wouldnt listen this pig has a 230 k on it an i bet he has over a grand in it already:blush: well alot will depend on how clean i can get it tomorrow we will see talk about stepping over a doller ta save a dime oh well:blink: so oh well here goes nothing an yes this does make me feel like a hack trust me its been 12 yrs since ive done anything like this:blush: :blush: but we will see how it goes

ta be honest im petty impressed myself im going ta be curious ta see what he will be able to do in a month so far he seems ta take to everything i ask him ta do like a duck to water an yes its hard for me ta walk away an not watch but its getting easier all the time with him

rear hope this helps;)ya see how the door handles on that white one point to the front???verses the one you posted a pic of or the yellow one thats a dead give away on the early build of the white one i read that the first 12 built were all considered prototypes i swear i learned enuff about these things that i could judge em at a darrin meet:blush: :blush: the build quality onthese things sucked $hit bigtime:laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
the yellow one has been customized back in the late seventys it has a pontiac 421 with tri power the white one is the 10th one built an the motor thats in it has no buissness in it its outa one of the prototypes an no one knows how it ended up in this car cuz its not an f head motor of course the aircleaners wrong but thats the motor that came in it triple carbs an all so it makes the white one extremely rare the yellow one was wrecked yrs back an someone decided ta put that Manhattan grill in it i had some pics of a prototype with that same motor in it with the edmunds head an triple carbs i think kiaser was trying ta get the power up on the l head motors b4 they decided ta run the f headed ones rumor has it that they where short on motors an they pulled this one out from under a bench on the assembly line an put it in this car no fooling so if thats the case whats it make the car worth??theirs also alot of different thigs on the white one verses alot of the later models door tracks an some of the bodylines are different ya aint lived till ya work on those doors though :blink: :blink: the white one was tore apart for a resto back in 67 an stored in boxes until about 5 yrs ago man that was a joy to put together:laugh: :laugh:
