I’m with you on that one. 180 and prime. then maybe seal before base to fill some more. Or just charge em for a new bumper with no stone chips

continuing education should be a condition of employement. If the techs do not want to better themselves then maybe they dont belong. its a part of most other industries why not ours. If the shop supplies the proper equipment and pays for employees education and is a positive place to work for then the good techs will come. it may take some time to get the right team togeather (read trial and error) so dont give up hope

they may not confirm or deny there is an overall problem with their paint on many cars but how can they deny a problem on a 1 year old car. it should be covered under warrenty. i would think the dealer that the cust bought the car from would be trying to help. no?
my sales rep was showing me that stuff today too. didnt leave a sample though. he was also showing me 3m was coming out with a bondo despensing cartridge gun. kinda like 2 part seam sealer. its automatically mixed in the tip. no ne to mix. just squirt on the panel and spread. he didnt have it in yet though. can’t wait to see the price on that:unsure: . thought rage extreme was expensive.
interesting, my rep was also telling me about a dust-free sander their coming out with that has a vacuum cartridge on the back. So instead of emptying a bag full of dust you just toss away a cartridge.
just toss the cartridge and buy another one. great Ideas 3m. another reason i dont like them. like emptying a vac bag is so hard
