That sounds like the savings we need.Im going to see if I can find someone that carries Norton products.Ive used the blue polycoated paper from Norton but cant remember the price nor where it was purchased.

Just bought a roll of 80 DA paper for 31.00,another paper we use is Indasa and its less than the Mirka brand.Around my town everyone is trying to save money so they can put it in their tanks so we try to save too.

Weve done it before, but the results really showed after we buffed it and had it ready for delivery. My suggestion is to at least 36 it then feather with 80 then putty it,remember to blow off the surface after each step.

Anyone tried the Mirka sandpaper.36 and 40 cut real good.Weve been using it now for about 2 years.

You hit in the head, would rather repair a deer hit any day.Theres alot more profit and we usually tie up 2 bays doing a clip job.

We clipped a 2001 Honda CRV about 8 months ago for a car dealer. We went with the factory seams except for the 2 rear quarter glasses and we sleeved the 4 posts, man that was a job, dont really care to clip anymore.I remember a state inspector looking at the truck when we finished, probably to clear up a salvage title or to make sure it wasnt a hack job.

Just thought I would give it an extra coat to offset ta buffing.

I believe it was the 15350 Super Brillant with medium hardener.Seemed to lay pretty good,at three coats with an Iwata 400 gun.

Im using 2021 PPG on most of my jobs.We shot a Jeep Cherokee this morning and used the Napa Crossfire clear and it layed pretty slick for a budget paint job.Dont know how it will look tomorrow but something has to work.Big price difference between the 2021 and the Napa stuff>

Well one thing if you smash it you want never have to worry about it again the last one I smashed was one of those Craftsmans guns with the cup on the bottom and that was probably 5 or so years ago, some will really piss you off and I cant fought anyone from slinging one or smashing one.

Thats what I would do.Send in a supplement and see what they will do,if they dont cover it see if the custoer will meet the shop half way on it.

Thanks for all the replies everyone,we are doing a black BMW today.I think I will try the usual 4 to 1 clear without reducing it,giving about 20 minutes flash and see what we have.
